Prepare for a world of opportunities in Computing with Break Through Tech Miami

For those students who want to shape the world.

At Break Through Tech Miami, we are committed to expanding your expertise and preparing you for the vast world of opportunities in computing. Our programs serve all students, with a special focus on minoritized groups, including Black, Latina, and Indigenous students. We provide the education and resources needed to navigate and excel in the tech industry through workshops, talks, and more.

Did you know that only 18% of women earn computer science bachelor’s degrees in the United States? Despite the high job demand, competitive pay, and projected growth, computer science remains a male-dominated field. We recognize that additional barriers exist for specific groups, including low-income, first-generation college students, and those with marginalized gender identities. Break Through Tech aims to amplify the voices of these groups and increase their representation within the tech community.

Can you envision yourself as a Computer Programmer, Software Engineer, Web Designer, Video Game Developer, or Data Scientist? These are just a few of the countless opportunities available for underrepresented communities. As computing intersects with all fields—arts, life sciences, business, and more—the possibilities are endless.

Your future in computing starts here. Join us at Break Through Tech Miami, where we will help you break down barriers, open doors, and reshape the industry.
