Break Through Tech looks to expand your expertise in tech to prepare you for opportunity.
Our program’s serve all students with a focus on women (cis and trans), non-binary individuals and minoritized groups with hopes to introduce them to the vast world of tech and provide insight and training for many opportunities in tech. We are especially devoted to serve black, Latina, and Indigenous women with the proper education and resources needed to seek these opportunities. We do this through providing workshops, talks, and more. See our programs below!
Miami Programs
Guild at FIU
An exclusive and innovative opportunity for students designed to ignite interest in tech by teaching them how to code real-world, mission-driven applications.
Program Participants
- Guild is open to all students with a focus on women (cis and trans) and nonbinary individuals who are first- and second-year students at FIU. You can be enrolled in any major— or not have even decided on a major yet. No prior experience required. See the bottom of the page for all eligibility requirements.
Sprinternships™
These 3-week and immersive paid internships give you work experience and a tech-industry résumé credential that can help you land your first summer tech internship.
Program Participants
Sprinternships™ are designed for all students, but especially focused on women (cis and trans), nonbinary individuals, and minoritized groups who are freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors at FIU.
